Since I OD'd in a suicide attempt.

Mental illness has battered me the past 12months, but it hasn't beaten me.

I haven't been clean that whole time, but I've not descending into the degradation of my addictions.

I am sharing here, with people who will understand what this means to me. ha ha and not just ask what step I'm on.

I have not always been happy that my attempt wasn't successful, but today I am grateful, humbled and OK.

Thank you everyone. I am so glad all of us at SR are here, helping one another move forward, sharing rough spots and victories etc.

I went on a long hike tonight, watched a beautiful Sunset and came home and ate home made chocolate pudding. I am grateful to be here to enjoy and experience all those lovely things.

and so to bed....
