Same to you, Tammie. I hope you're a good cook and put an image of the turkey up on your next post

The day went pretty good. My dad had a three hour pass from the hospital and we took him to his house wheer I had made a Mexican feast..he loved it. Had to hold my dad back on the dessert..he is diabetic. In addition to pumpkin pie I had three-layer coconut cake and three-layer double fudge cake...LOL.....I am kinda sad about my mom being up here and not able to enjoy her on Thanksgiving, but have handled it well, and feel stronger within myself about the whole situation. I usually prepare a traditional Thanksgiving feast, but really wanted to do aomething this time, you know break the cycle and be daring!! I am a Capricorn, so being spontaneous...and enjoying it is a big deal to me..LOL....Hope everyone had a pleasant day. Love you all bunches and bunches. And I haven't by chance told ya all how much I am blessed and thankful for you have I??? ((((((((((((((Hugs))))))))))))))):yellowros

It's great you got to have your Dad for a bit. Did he enjoy himself? Although I'm in my 40's, I still dread the day I will lose my folks....my gosh. This time is so precious. Mamabear
