Cogentin?

Hi, my doctor put me on Cogentin about a little over a month ago.

I take 2mg in the am. I also take Seroquel 400mg at night.

At night I fall asleep right away BUT; I get up numerous times; I drop things, once fell down the steps (only 3 steps though), spill juice.. The next morning I don't even remember what I did at night. During the day, my speech is off, I forget things.. It's awful.

I am wondering if anyone has been on Cogentin; and if they have experienced any symptoms like this..?

Thanks

Buspar gave me similiar symptoms. It left me feeling like a drooling idiot. I hated every minute I was on it. Fortunately, my doctor listened when I told her that I had to stop taking it.

You might speak with your doctor. There are a lot of different meds out there hopefully one will be a better fit for you.

Cogentin made me black out. I go back to look at posts I made (on other sites) while taking it and I made no sense at all, it was like I was just saying random words! Stay far away from that one, IMO.
