I take it sometimes, but not usually, only if I have time to sleep. Generally on nights where i've got nothing to do and i'm like "**** it" It does make me drowsy during the day too. Its kind of a problem for me on all sleep meds though.

Hi Sleepie, I took it for awhile and found like Live said it is better to take earlier in the evening so I didn't feel so tired all day. It was effective for me to get to sleep and stay asleep for sure.

I've been taking it for five years as a sleep aid. I also felt drowsy during the day and cut my dosage in half. That worked beautifully. For me it works best to take it right before going to sleep.

I've been taking it for years (5-10) as well, and I take it at least 90 min before going to bed; sometimes it doesn't do anything and sometimes I'll take an extra 1/2 pill if I've not been sleeping well. I've never had any problems with it.

I quit taking it a few days ago. Last night I slept without any sleeping pills or booze for the first time in quite awhile. I have bronchitis at the moment, so I think my body just needs the rest. I am phasing out of 2 meds that I am ready to quit. I can't wait to get my brain back. klonopin makes me forgetful.
