| Therapy?
I struggle from eating disorder, alcoholism, depression and a VERY low self image. I am starting AA today but I feel that I could really benefit from some one on one therapy. Unfortunately I dont have alot of extra money laying around |

You might try giving your local mental health center a call. I know the one where I live goes according to income. I do have a medical card now that pays for it, but prior to that, I was only paying $5 per session.

Hi SS, this is the first time I've seen one of your posts and I noticed you're from the Phoenix area. This is one of the places I attend meetings North Scottsdale Fellowship Club - Home-Home The Club has meetings for addicts, alcoholics, overeaters, codependents, and more so maybe you'd benefit from a visit? And the only cost is putting a buck in the basket when it's passed, if you can afford it. I found therapy and counseling to be helpful, here's a place that offers group support, and also one-on-one Franciscan Renewal Center Programs | Scottsdale, Arizona | A Center for Spiritual Growth, Retreats, Conferences and Meetings, Counseling, Support Groups, Music, Outreach, and much more | A Christ centered community, embracing the Catholic tradition i The fee is a donation or they charge you based on your income, I thought the price was very reasonable.

You can also try your local YWCA or YMCA, whichever applies to you. I have recieved therapy through them at a sliding scale fee before.
