Never fails, when I am ready to shut down that's when my mind goes nuts. Every bit of stress in my life enters my mind at a rapid pace. I tried sleepy tea, prayer, relaxing my muscles, and total silence in the room. Ended up letting anxiety win. I'm not that far into my sobriety so I have hope that it will pass. Just sucks real bad!

Welcome to SR and our mental health forum grantstrength1. This is an old thread from 2003 so it is unlikely the OP is still here, at least I don't recognize them. You might try starting a new thread here and letting the others get to know you.
