Man I was and pretty much am right there with ya. Guess I would have found you but I stumbled on this site just last night ( due to the fact I couldn't sleep myself ) snd signed up then. Get any sleep at all? I did not. Wish Id run into you.

Never fails, when I am ready to shut down that's when my mind goes nuts. Every bit of stress in my life enters my mind at a rapid pace. I tried sleepy tea, prayer, relaxing my muscles, and total silence in the room. Ended up letting anxiety win. I'm not that far into my sobriety so I have hope that it will pass. Just sucks real bad!

This is an old thread from 2003 so it is unlikely the OP is still here, at least I don't recognize them.

You might try starting a new thread here and letting the others get to know you.
