Hey Paulos, I just sent you a PM in reply to yours - try not to take it personally, what happened tonight.

There were a few complaints Paulos, not just yours.

I'll read the chat transcripts when they come in tonight.

I'm sorry it was stressful.

This is my first day here. So far it looks like I'll successfully complete my day 1.

Are all the chat meetings like the one tonight? It is hard to share and contribute when there is so much cross talk. Newbies like me can easily get scared away.

Paul,
I'm sorry there was that much disruption.
As I said before, some people are just plain ole jerks!
Don't let their bad behavior get you down.
Just keep doing what you do so well!
And know that we appreciate all your service work!

x04,
I'm sorry your first day here was disrupted by a few disgruntled people too.
We've got thousands of members who share their experience, strength and hope here on SR, helping each other in their recovery. Believe me, the meetings are normally very smooth running and well managed. Like every site on the web, though, if you have people determined to be trolls, they can harm for a *short* period of time. Just as they did tonight. I assure you, that is *not* our normal operation.

Paul's meetings are well attended and well respected by the members here. And we are very grateful for his service to SR!

So, X04, don't be scared away by this one unfortunate night. Come back and witness first hand what SR is really all about. It's the finest recovery site online!

Shalom!

Paul, please remember that your service on SR, especially in the chat room is very much appreciated. I know from experience that it's not always easy chairing those meetings, but I also know how grateful our members are to have them available. Thanks for all you do here, try not to let it get you down.
