Keep forgetting

I keep forgetting to take my meds. Ever since I got this computer I have had weeks that go by where I'll take my meds on and off cause I'll forget them. Forget to take them forget to get them refilled..ect I end up manic or depressed. I don't know what to do. I've tried putting time limits on computer time but that don't work. All my friends are on here. When I get upset I get on to talk to my friends about whatever just happened. My therapist wants me to get out more but naturally I don't like going places by myself. I don't drive so that makes it hard. I used to be so good with my meds. I want to get everything in order again before my boyfriend comes home but I don't know what to do. Please help me! Give me ideas to try!

I use a seven day pill holder. I fill it up each Sunday night for the following week.

Put a big note in red on your refrigerator.

Put a rubber band on your wrist.

I use a 7 day pill holder too. Maybe I should move my pills to where they are in sight. I have them kinda hidden cause when my brother was out of jail I didn't want him to be in them but he's back in.

Do you have a coffee cup you like? Do you have a glass on your sink that you use for rinsing after you brush your teeth? Literally place the plastic pill holder in the cup or glass. You must remove and be reminded each day. I forget a lot. Can you tell???

I keep mine in a cosmetic bag with other stuff I badly need for the night, like my toothbrush. This is good for traveling as well, because you never go anywhere without the toothbrush - and my first order of business when I wake up is to brush my teeth. Foolproof!:p

Why not put the pill holder on the computer keyboard. Then you know you will remember it (unless it is not safe to do so cuz of kids). I used to have to put my toothbrush and my birth contol pills on top of eachother, it was the only way I could remember. Obviously I did not continue on with that, since I am as knocked up as they get right now! LOL.....

I can put them on my key board...but I moved them to right infront of my computer so I see them but I just got to remember to refill them box. My bf comes home soon and he keeps saying he'll be my pain in the butt cause he'll follow me around asking if I took my meds. lol

Letting Go,

That is too funny. I have to take mine at night when I go to sleep, because they help me for sleep, so I never forget that one. The other one I don't much care if I forget or not because I don't think it's really doing much for me, and I'm on a very low dose.

I was just gonna say that one...Put your pills right on top of your computer, or next to it!!
