Lightbulb Books of Inspiration.... Have any?

Recently my g/f and I have been gong through a whole lotta mess with addiction and bi-polar. Its hard for everyone I know, but I have found a book that has kept me going through all of this. "The Way of the Peaceful Warrior" by Dan Millman!

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...glance&s=books

Its a wonderful book! You have to read it. It will change your life.

Has anyone else found books of inspiration? A story that helps you out during tough times? Keep the thread alive. Make a reply.

Good thread topic!!
I'll have to check out that book you mentioned..
It really helps me to read dr. Wayne Dyer's books, Real Magic and Your Sacred Self are two favorites of mine..
Something that usually works for me too is the quote by Anne Frank I have in my signature..Think of all the beauty still left around you and be happy..So simple, so true, and so very powerful to me.

It's not really a book of inspiration in the sense of what you mentioned, but it inspires me. "The Wind in the Willows." I have read that book many times since childhood, and it never fails to bring me new insight.

These are two I've read recently:

Michael J. Fox - Lucky Man
Joan Chittister (a Catholic Progressive) - scarred by Struggle. Transformed by Hope (it's superb)
