I lived in NY for 10 years. Now I know why they all have a bad rap all over the country! It's the fact there's hardly any sunshine!! I moved to SC and wow, I feel better. I love sunshine. However, it can be oppressive in the summer. This is actually depressing in a way, to me.

I didn't know this. I'm not aware I suffer from any SAD myself, but living in Northern Australia it makes a lot of sense - thanks ![]() D
