No, I've not fliped my lid...yet! I made 24 quarts of salsa today, canned them up for later. And when I took them out of the water bath that seals the tops of the jars, they POP! ![]() I just *love* that sound! LOL! It's the sound of a job well done. It means it's a successful canning process and that the food is preserved and will safely keep. I give them for gifts during the holidays. Unfortunately, I was not able to make my relishes this year. I couldn't care for my garden due to my mom's illness and death. But, normally, I make both red and green tomato relishes. ![]() And give them as gifts too. I just LOVE the holidays!!! :>) Shalom!

I haven't had ultimate nachos in a long time. I'm going to have to make that soon...maybe this weekend.

Oh, any kind of chip (I like blue) refried beans sour cream shredded cheese guacamole black beans (I like beans) salsa (I make raw when tomatoes are in season: tomatoes, onion, jalapeño, cilantro, some lemon/lime juice, a bit of vinegar, kiwi, and mango...mmm, mango!). Oh yeah, and extra jalapeños. Sometimes I add seasoned grilled chicken or beef(don't have to). If I make them this weekend, I'll probably buy store-bought salsa....it's just not the same. Tomatoes are pretty sorry-looking right now....and bland.
