Why does everything i post keep getting deleted?

surely not every word i say can suddenly be "against the rules."

talk about hurting a person.

i suddenly feel like a lepper or something vile....just because i have responded to being hurt over the past week.

Is this a way of telling me to disappear for good...without actually having to 'tell' me to go away?

if the link to my new blog in my last 2 posts was against the rules....then why can't someone explain to me why the entire posts were deleted. I know from experience that select parts of a post can be deleted instead of the entire post.

i just want to know what the deal is?

If someone thinks i have ill will....then just go thru all my last postings from the past month or more...the ones i took hours to write to newcomers looking for support, information and help in any way.

What did i do that was so wrong?

I am confused about some of it myself.

Am i not allowed to ever stand up to comments that offend or hurt me and others? Since that is what started all of this.

I would think any stigmatizing comments toward any group of people at SR wouldn't be tolerated...and would at least be addressed as I tried to do thru education and personal examples.

Is advocacy not a good thing?
Is standing up against potentially harmful opinions not a good thing?

why am I the bad guy here?
I didn't say the comments which hurt several people on this forum who deal with those issues. I just stood up for myself and those who suffer in similar ways as I do.

What have i done that is SO wrong to deserve every word of every post in the past week be deleted?

Hi Jenna

The forums were just upgraded, and are still under maintenance. Some features are missing - and I'm not sure - but I'm hoping they will be restored.

It was NOTHING personal, and you were not the only one affected, I assure you.

Thanks Rowan, but that's not the case here. My posts on my bipolar journal and the new thread i posted this morning have been deliberately deleted.

Someone doesn't like my frank, opinionated personality.
Someone doesn't like me having a brain and my own opinions.
Someone doesn't like my standing up for major depressives.
Someone doesn't want anything remotely negative that i say about this site to be read.
Someone would rather delete entire posts than just the small link i was informed to be against the rules.

Jenna, I removed the post with the link. I didn't just remove the link because then the post wouldn't have made much sense because most of the post was concerning the link. I would have had to change the text content of your post to leave it without the link. I don't like editing posts when I think it will change the content. I sent you a PM explaining it. If you look over on the substance abuse forum I posted a reminder there and unapproved numerous posts on that forum that had links. We don't allow links to forums or blogs, but you can put it in as your home page link in your profile.

I know Teach sent you a long PM explaining her position on the other posts. Please PM her if you have more questions.

I will be away from the computer all day until late tonight. Teach is at work until later tonight. I'm going to close this thread since no one will be here to answer it. Please send a PM and we will get back to you when we can.
