| Lexapro Working, I Think
I have been on Lexapro now for almost 3 weeks. Along with Depakote and a small dose of Serequal. When I first started taking Lexapro my anxiety was actually getting worse. I was about to quit taking it. However, I'm glad I stuck with it because I find my anxiety to be much better and my depression improving as well. I guess sometimes we have to "stick it out" that things will improve.

| Glad to hear it Tib. Lexpro worked really well for my depression for several years. I hope it gives you some long term relief as well.

| Good news!
I'm glad your symptoms are improving! I've had to change meds a few times as they didn't work or "pooped out," and I find that for me, it also takes a while before they start working. Hang in there!

Tib, I had the same response to Lexapro, initially, there was anxiety at first, but after a month, it smoothed right out. I am happy yuo are getting relief from your depression and soon, from your anxiety.
