Question Does this make sense, Lamictal Withdrawal...

Does this make any sense to you guys. I went off Lamictal in spurts of 25mg for about 3 weeks from 100mg to 50mg back in January, which started my withdrawal but then I went up to 75mg and then I was on that for a little while until 2 weeks ago I wanted off all the meds, and so they cut 50mg and then the last 25mg I was on therefore possibly continuing the withdrawal of the Lamictal? Because I've been feeling bad ever since January, during the first beginning of the withdrawal and all throughout February and now of course most of March.

What are you using the lamictal for, Paulos?
You have tapered down. That's good. From what I've read, that's the healthiest way to do it. But, if you need the meds to control or help a psych condition, then, yes, you will feel bad again because you are no longer on it.

Shalom!

Ok, well, I'm just curious, here, but, all three conditions normally have meds for control of the symptoms. So, why are you going off the meds?

What other meds have you considered using?

And, you do know, I hope, that people with dual diagnoses, ( a mental health condition and a substance abuse issue), have a very high rate of relapse if the two are not treated *at the same time.*
I know this because my son is dual diagnosed, and we were on this merry go round for years.

I hope you find your way.

Shalom!
