| Interesting new information about mental illness and depression I got this article in my inbox from a web site I subscribe to newsmax.com. I found it interesting and hopeful that one day medical science will be better able to help those of us with mental illness. At least it helps to prove that although it is in our heads it is not just our minds playing tricks on us it is an actual difference in the way our brains work. I say that because I have had people say "just get over it", "it's just your imagination," "you just need to think more positively," duhhh...if it were that easy would any of us continue to suffer from these conditions? wow, Nandm, thanks for this info....this is a huge breakthrough...can you imagine......all of the suffering and disruption in people's lives while trying to find the right med?...the suicides .....the lives that will be saved ? wow......

awsome!!!! gives some hope to us who feel hopeless. and...i can see our mental illnesses slowly being 'seen' by society in general as a real illness...no different than cancer....and slowly stigmas will begin to disapate. Thanks for sharing this. i needed a little hope shed onto my future where the torment might find a finale.
