i suffer from both bi-polar and border line personality disorder, they recently changed my medication and put me on lamictal, it seemed like it was working for awhile, but now i'm not so sure, i'have only been on it for 10 days now but i suffered from a manic episode last week and now the depression has set in, i think alot about my mom who passed away 4 months ago, and now my daughter is graduateing from elementary school she is graduateing with honors and has received 3 very special awards, and i am so proud of her achievements but on the other hand i also very sad. i dont think it's fair that my mom is no longer here to share all of this with us. i feel like i'm starting to spin out of control again, and i can't reach my doctor until monday. thanks for listening |

Hey there, I'm sorry that you are going through this. I know stress and worry can lead into a manic episode. My husband is bi-polar and whenever he gets stressed or upset he goes manic. It's hard for me to tell you how to handle this because I myself am not bipolar but I just wanted to let you know that I'll say a little prayer for you today. The loss of a mother is the worse loss a child can go through. Its been almost 3 years since my grandma passed away and my mother still gets very emotional and so do I as I loved her as if she were my own mother. I hope today finds you better. Please keep posting...I'll check in every once in a while to see how you are. Let it out. All of it. That is what I tell my husband and it works for him. Thinking of you all the way in NC, 2many2count
