Yes you can Tell your mom that you need to see a therapist. I suffer from depression and anxiety. for me it comes and goes as well. but I know when I need to seek help and I do. DO not wait until it is too late.

Hi, Vico; And welcome! Nuf is right; please do talk to your mom. Taking Trazadone is nothing to fool around with. (I read your other post, lol!) It's an anti-depressant, often used for a sleep aide. What were you taking before for your ocd? After you talk to your mom, come back and let us know how it's going. I promise, she will want to know. And you will feel much better doing things the right way, rather than taking drugs that are not prescribed for you.... That can really mess you up big time! All you need to do is read some of the stories here on SR to discover that for yourself. ![]() I look forward to hearing from you soon, and getting to know you better! ![]() Shalom!

you dont need to go to your mom about anything unless your a minor, go to cmh ( community mental health, most services are very cheep if not free or call a crisis line, all you have to do is ask the right person in this day and age.

Hi, wldkatz; Vico is a minor, therefor must go through her mom or guardian. As a mother, myself, though, I can assure you, vico, that your mom will want to help, especially since she knows your prior history. You do not have to let your OCD take over your life. There is effective treatment. Please make yourself available to it. You deserve it are worth it! ![]() Let us know how your doing, ok? ![]() Shalom!

To answer a question, I took prozac for my OCD. I am very seriously considering telling my mom but I need to work up some courage. I think it will be easier now because now I am getting some seriously horrific nightmares, which I also had as a kid. I know I need help and you are right. I DON'T need to suffer when there is help. And most of all I also that taking medication that is not prescribed to you is dangerous and that there is a reason you need a prescription to get it. I figured that out the hard way. And it all somehow stems back to my OCD. Life is such a vicious circle, and I know I'm slipping because one thing leads to another and it always ends up bad.
