| Methadone and Seroquel..
I just started methadone maintenence today , started at 20mg ... I Also take prescribed 350mg seroquel every night, will this be safe, i took 20mg of methadone at 9:30am and i am going to take 350mg of seroquel at 10pm same day, will this be safe, the doctor knew i was taking seroquel when putting me on methadone, but i never told her how much i was taking... i have been taking the seroquel for about 4 months so i have a tolerance to it for sure... i just want to be sure of it... thanks! by the way im new just found this site, and i have 93 days clean and sober today.. |

Congratulations on 93 days clean and sober, trichr0me!!!  If the doctor is aware of your being on seroquel, then, they are the one to trust. None of us here are medical professionals. We share our experience, strength and hope, only. However, I would suggest that you inform the doctor of the dosage. I assume if it was an issue of concern, though, s/he would have asked prior to prescribing the methodone. I look forward to getting to know you. And can't begin to tell you how cool it is to hear you've been clean so long! Keep it up!  Shalom!

Thanks for welcoming me, yah i had my 90 day birthday at a AA meeting on tuesday....  Went to a AA meeting today and im planning on hitting my 3rd one this week tomarrow!I love being sober, i feel so much better, i already put on 10lbs of muscle... and an additional weight, went from 130 to 160 in 5 months... But yah i just randmonly found this site, and i figuire i will stay in touch with it now... So what do you guys do for fun? I am trying to find activities to take up time and have fun being sober... rather than just seeking my addiction everyday.. Much love... trichr0me |
