| new meds Hello, I am kind of new here, today I went to my doc and told her about my feelings and that I stoped taking the ultarm she thinks I have anxiety and depression problems so she started me on xanax and effesor, but im not sure so far I have taken zolof, paxil, lithium, prozac, lexapro, ritalin, abilify, and like 4 more meds before and like a week or 2 afer starting them the axiety hits me hard so does anyone know if I will get super anxious on this meds? |

| Hi, Mayraalexz.... Welcome to SR!!! ![]() You will not get anxious on xanax. It is a benzodiazapam. A downer. It is used to treat anxiety. I cannot speak about the effexor; I've never been on it and know little about it. But, others will be around who do. There is a thread above, in the stickies, that talk about the different meds. It is a good place for you to check out information on medications, rather than relying on others opinions. Actually, we just had a crash, and I'm not sure if it's still there. So, if not, you can check out www.revolution.com for any meds. I find it to be a very helpful site; filled with solid information in a language that us "lay people" can understand! ![]() I look forward to getting to know you. Shalom! |
