| Does anyone have experience with Lyrica?
I am in the process of a med change. I am currently taking xanax for anxiety and my doctor had suggested Lyrica. Does anyone have info on this drug. All of the other anti anxiety meds have actually made my anxiety worse. I would love to hear what your experience with this drug is. Thanks Mel:praying |

It's an anti'seizure med. I was prescribed it for seizures but never took it. I had my first seizure in June. I figured if I started taking it I'd eventually have to wean off of it thus probably having another seizure. Whenever I wanna research a med I use this site askapatient.com It's a site where people rate the medicine, why they're taking it, side effects, and how long they were on it.

Thank you all. It is actually an off label med for anxiety and I am trying to get pregnant so that helps. I have tried Klonopin and I feel very drugged on that but that too you can't take during pregnancy either. I want to get off xanax so I can get pregnant. I did start cymbalta about two weeks ago and that seems to be helping so far with the anxiety. I have been able to slowly wean myself down on the xanax but I am still taking a low dose in the morning. Still waking up with anxiety. Anyway thank you. Mel |
