| Women in open meetings
I have had some awkward moments in the meetings i attend. As a divorced man, I am struggling with many issues involving being alone, for the first time in my Adult life, not being able to share the highs and lows with someone, codependent being a Hero, Sex.... you name it. I am especially drawn to women in a crisis and tend to want to bail them out. After so many years of faithfulness to one women I am very hard pressed to even talk to other women except to say hi and talk about the weather, and yet I am exploding with the desire to sit down and talk about real stuff. Well...any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Jackf

I'd get a little more time in the program before you worried too much about ladies in the meeting. 2 sickies don't make 2 wellies they always say ![]() We only have 1 open meeting in my area. The rest are closed to meetings with both men and women in recovery. There's only a few women in my home groups. everyone sends off signals you'll know when, a woman is interested in you for a friendship. Just be leery in AA you can get burnt really easy
