When he came down he broke the oil pan, blew out the front end, and both headlights exploded.

Johnny Airtime in his 2nd public jump, on the way up to the apogee. This was a jump over 16 Chevrolet Camaros. He cleared the last car by 40 feet. This jump happened in 1984 at Armadillo Speedway, Abilene, Texas. Also during the show, a quarter pipe bicycle jumping exhibition was conducted, along with a break dancing exhibition by the winners of a local 16 hour long dance contest. Johnny was still in the Air Force when this picture was taken.
