Hi, my name is tim, I'm new on this forum. Need some advise on what to do and where I can go after inpatient at the Caron Center in Pa.. Leaving on the 16th of March, for a 4 week inpatient, and looking for options of living in a sober enviorment , after. Nothing keeping me in Maine anymore, divorced recently, and have questions of relationships in my future anyway. Would like to relocate and am willing to lok at options. Good work and diverse in my feild, but right now have an opprotunity for focusing on staying sober. |

Hey Tim, welcome! First off, all the best for you in your stay at the Caron Center. I did a little over five weeks in a residential rehab just over a year ago. Hopefully, the counselors where you're going will have plenty of knowledge and contacts, and will be able to advise you with your options post treatment. I'd suggest making it clear to them what it is you'd like to do afterwards. Part of their mandate, I would imagine, will be to facilitate your transition to a sober living environment. There is a link here at SoberRecovery, in that database, for sober living homes. Have a look and find it. And if you can't, come back here and rant about it! Someone will help you find it. Glad you're here man, and again, all the best on your new sober adventure. |
