Erectile Dysfunction Alcohol?

Hey, I am 26 and I started drinking 8-9 months ago...mostly on weekends I had 4-5 beers...some times I also drank on weekdays.

Now this is the problem: 10 days ago I drank 4-5 beers daily for 3 days. i.e around 13-15 beers in 3-4 days, since then I have not had any erections. Even if I try to masturbate I cannot get erections at all, I am really concerned if this has something to do with my drinking?

Please let me know.

I've read in the past that alcohol can cause this becaue it suppresses your central nervous system. And also that excessive alocohol use can damage veins.

I used to have that problem when I drank a lot and now that I don't drink it has gone away.
It didn't really affect my sex life because the times I drank too much there was no way I was getting any anyways.

The only instances I recall of having erectile dysfunction after drinking several beers over extended periods of time were directly related to who was lying next to me when I woke up, lol.

You're young, it should pass.

According to this article, alcohol doesn't cause erectile dysfunction:

Erectile Dysfunction and Alcohol

Yet...according to this one, alcohol can create an erection problem for some men:

A good idea would be to speak with your doctor.

I would definitely check with the Doc. You are very young to be affected by that amount of beer. Something else may be going on and you need to have a Doc do an assessment. Things like diabetes can also cause problems like you are experiencing. This is the kind of stuff you want to know about right away.
