Not that I am ready and I suppose I am projecting out into the future, but...since it looks like the misses isnt in any reconciliatory mood and indeed appears to be full steam on the divorce train (not that I can blame her)...after 20 years of marriage, when the time comes, how does a broken down slightly overweight, hair thinning a bit on top, broke, lousy credit, recovering alcoholic start dating again? :wtf2

Honestly, a confident man with a good sense of humor can overcome A LOT! Improve yourself and the added bonus will be dating gets easier.

In the movie Boiler Room there's a line in there he says "act as if" meaning basically fake it till you make it. Dating is a lot about being rejected and it's fine if not every woman likes you. You just need to have the self esteem and confidence to take some blows to the ego and keep at it.

I'm in my mids 30s, have kids, no job, pos car, live in a crappy old mobile home and you would be AMAZED that my humor, wit and charm can overcome all of that and dating a good looking 20 year old is still no trouble for me.

So the point is to work on you and the rest will come, no bad attitude and another upside is your ex will hate it

As for the where, common interests, internet though I would avoid dating sites.
