Model Railroading, anyone? - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

I've recently begun a new model railroad in my basement.

Any other modellers out there?

I'll post some pics in a day or so (it's getting late for me here and I haven't quite figured out uploading images) of what I've done so far (just benchwork), and I'd like to see if any others out there share this hobby.

Post your pix if you have them. From a simple plywood 4x8 or door to an elaborate mini-empire. I'd love to see them.

I would love to do a model railroad just don’t have the room. No basement and the wife would kill me if I took her parking spot in the garage.
I do build wooden model boats. I am working on a Scottish maid from Artesania Latina have the hull done working on the mast right now.

I had a few plastic model ships many years ago. I don't even remember what they were or what I did with them, though.

BaldHeadedJohn, you going to post those pictures? I would like to see them. I don't have any trains. I was always jealous of the neighbor guy who had them however. I wish I had the room.

Used to do it when I was a kid, HO scale, and loved it. I'd get back into it if I had any space at all to do it.

I used to have a 4 x 8 sheet of plywood layed out like a small city....

And I agree, post up some pics of what you've done!
