| Google's new browser: "Chrome."
I heard about this new browser from Google today and decided to research it a little. After reading what the developers had to say, I decided to give it a try, and I have to say I'm impressed. I have been using Firefox for about a year and think it's heads and shoulders above IE, Firefox is fast and has never given me any problems. However after you read what Google's developers have come up with I think you will be compelled to kick the tires and give Chrome a test drive. I will, however, continue to use Firefox because I've got some things build into it that can't be replaced with anything that Chrome or IE has. (It's a secret.) I use FF too. IE SUCKS....... Them gooogle guys are pretty good so I'll prolly give it a whack and see what comes out. they would have to come up with something really wild though to woo me away from FF. |

I've been using Chrome for about a month now, and ya, it kinda rocks. Small and fast. And it has this neat little widget where, when you open it up, it "remembers" the last 9 sites you visited and posts little thumbnails of them for easy clicking. I haven't really dug into it too much, but it works great to surf multiple tabbed sites.

Google Chrome breaks by obeying alternate style rules as if active. There’s a difference between people hearing about a thing and actually using it. The fact that it’s in the news has much more to do with the Google vs. Microsoft story than it does with what the average user is going to do. Chrome’s install numbers over the next month wont even be close to Firefox 3.0’s install numbers (which are a fraction of IE’s install numbers). |

| I want to try it sometime. But I'm lazy and have not even fully explored the FF add-ons.

I downloaded chrome and found that it took over my computer and really slowed my laptop down. To be honest I wasn't impressed at all and had a hell of a time purging chrome off the computer. I'll stay wit IE and FF |

I've been using Chrome for about three months now. I find some site features won't perform quite as well, but I find it slim and fast. I still use FF for bill paying and heavier-ended webwork, but I think Chrome has got a future. I certainly prefer it over IE, which I never use unless a site forces me to do so.

I have not tried chrome, I usually wait until something is out at least 2 years before I adopt it. Mark, This means you haven't been using computers for very long. So whats the story, are you 22 or did you just recently start using computers?
