God of the Grill that is. Sup tonite on my Weber is skirt steak marinated 24 hours in ponzu sauce, soy sauce, pineapple, honey, garlic, chinese black bean, fresh cracked pepper, lime juice. Side is roasted corn with lime, olive oil, kosher salt, and chile powder. Another side is marinated/grilled eggplant. Bow before your master ! |

lemme see....olive oil, ponzu sauce, soy sauce, garlic, juice of 4 or 5 limes, honey, pineapple chunks, chinese black bean paste(get it in the asian section of the grocery...about 2 tablespoons), fish sauce(about a tablespoon), fresh black pepper. let it sit overnight or 24 hours or so. get the grill hot and sear the meat really close to the hot flame about 30-40 seconds, flip it and sear that side. put on indirect heat on the grill and grill it to rare-medium rare. cut against the grain. dang good.
