| Go Cubs Go!!!!!!!!!
Man I know its still really early but its so hard to contain my excitment over how amazing the cubs have been so far this year. They are on a 6 game streak, won 9 of the last 10, and just scratched in the franchise 10k win mark, the first team ever to do that from the same city its whole career and only the second franchise 10k W mark in history. Everybody is stepping up to the plate (excuse the pun :P), from the newly acquired Fukodome and Reed Johnson to some of the guys you never thought would like Pie and Cedeno. It just feels like this might be it, like the cubs are destined to break the curse on their 100 year anniversary since their last WS title. I hope this is the year, my whole life the cubs have been my second most destructive addiction, im sure you all can take a good guess at the first :P LETS GO CUBBIES!!! |

Was looking yesterday at standings. I am a Red Sox fan but I still look for where the Cubbies are at. Nice seeing them on top.

I'm still worried about the rotation. It's working well now but I'm not loving that as a down the stretch or playoff group. Btw, Sweet Lou got some serious respect yesterday when he pinch ran for 4/5 Derrek Lee in a one run game in the 9th. Everyone thought it was stupid, including me, and then the faster guy, Pie, drew so much attention that the pitcher lobbed a horrible pitch to Aramis to take the lead. Maybe being a baseball manager isn't an easy as I once thought. |

Bard Hehehe, a Royals fan, How unique ![]() Actually I've been a Royals and Chiefs fan since I can remember. The Royals might just be a contender this year. We (All 50 fans) would like to hope so anyways. |

True blue Cubs fan here. I still remember the horrible incident with Steve Bartman duting the Marlins/ Cubs playoff game. I almost threw up I was so angry that night. Of course I was drunk as a skunk also. Tib |

It's the Lou Piniella effect. He was with the Mariners when I lived up in Seattle and took them to a 116 game winning season, so I have a lot of love for Lou. Especially when he blows up. Loooooooouuuuuuu!!!!!!!
