i'm sure theres a music thread somewhere in here but i'm not going to dig through 12 pages. what did you like and what do you like? I liked anything that came out of detroit i'm learning. kid rock, white stripes, seger, motown, etc. I don't even know why, except i guess they are coming out of a similar mess that upstate new york is in also. Thats my theory false or not i don't have a clue. I have to listen to contemporary jazz though when i'm sober. anything rock triggers me. I actually have a nature cd also, rainstorms and s**t like that. what do you like, and how are you doing? |

I listen to whatever. Some rock, some rap, some drum and bass/electronic, some grind, jazz, I like a little bit of everything. There is no single genre I subscribe to, I just like individual songs. Sometimes when I hear songs I used to hear in the bar/club a few years ago, I think about the "good" times. But it doesn't last long.

I pretty much like everything with the exception of some types of country, and reggae. I have a pretty large music collection on iTunes as I have digitized all my CDs, but lately I have found that - with the exception of the gym - I prefer to have someone else program music for me. Hence, I listen to pandora.com quite a bit, and have it on at work pretty much the entire day. For another nice mix, I also listen to Radio Paradise internet radio too. I've always wanted to try the nature "music" too but have never gotten around to it. |

60's and 70's minus the heavy metal stuff or acid rock they started coming out with before the disco crap *LOL* Now I listen to mostly Christian music and the Oldies Station when in the car.

| If you try it...listen in the store first. There are many wannabe samples that sound like crap. Bird churp filled music where they just throw in a bunch of bird churps and call it nature music.

"Nature" music probably isn't what y'all are looking for; birds squawking and frogs croaking and whales moaning, is mostly just "nature noise." For deep relaxation and meditation, try my favorite old labels: Windham Hill, Narada...they produce "contemporary acoustic" music, basically mellow guitars and pianos and woodwinds, no vocals...background music for the stressed-out mind... | |
