I played the free games a few times but stopped when I realized that others were playing the pay games. Gambling can be as bad as any other addiction. Sneeks up on you the same way. Hits you before you even know it.

Yes - I played for a couple years. I played for cash online and was pretty good. I have all of the stats software / screen reading software. I think I made about 8 grand over the course of the 2 years. It may sounds good, but it worked out to about $10 an hour, and a lot of that was deposit bonuses.

I started wiht limit holdem, then worked my way up as high as $400 NL

I only play live in casinos now, the competition is way way way easier.
