Irs

Hello. Could I bug yall with a question? Anyone have any experience with filing taxes for the first time? I'm on the 'homeless' list I think, gonna file. Never filed, even few jobs that withheld, always made cash money everywhere I went. Should I get a lawyer or something, or just file? I probably averaged 25,000 and less and way less over the years.

Just file. I had to do the same thing a few years back. They were actually pretty helpful. Give them a call. Explain your situation. They will mail you 1040EZ forms for the back years and also what they have recorded for your income each year if your not sure.

Sisters going to help me. Just going to do it. She also advized me to keep the part about black helicopters and giant potato cannons to myself. I'll let her do the negotiating and play it by ear.
Thanks.

It's not enough fun to simply face up and overcome the humiliation of holding myself financially accountable to the federal government, like every other 'decent law abiding' citizen. I already feel like a limp wristed bitch over that.Outta just move to europe and start sipping tea while I'm at it.

No. The bossman didn't reported me for an entire year of cash income, for 2005. It just doesn't exist. He grinned over what a favor he done me. I'm not sure how it's a favor for someone who now owes God a decent law abiding life. Wouldn't it be in your favor to report your help's pay? Less that you have to pay on? If so, he would have reported it. I don't know just how it works, but I'm sure he got all the 'favors' out of this deal. Pentecostal hog farming in the blood crooked piece of %$##.

So now to do the 'right thing' will drag him into something. Someone said I could add up an approximate amount and report it as 'other'. An entire year, 20,000 or so. What if I'm audited. Won't they wanna climb up my ass with a flashlight anyway, never having filed before?

Will they care where money came from that I could have got away with not reporting in the first place?

Dude, they dont care about you. Nothing personal, but they have much bigger fish to fry. Like your boss!!!!!! Just file all the back years and all will be well. Dont stress over this. I've been there. As for your boss, he is gaining by paying you cash. No workmans comp, no SS to match, and so on. He just finds ways to write the money off on his taxes. I would like to pay my employees cash, but I run a legit business.
