Angry Arg!!!

So... I got a message on my voice mail from my P.O. today, and he said that the half-way house I was at a couple of months ago called him to say that I wasn't following up with my after care program, which was to attend one group session for 8 weeks. I went to 3 of them, and then found more local meetings, and this forum, and online meetings to attend, so I stopped going. So my P.O. said I have to go back to the half-way house or he is going to put me in custody! AAARRRGGGHHHH!!! I go to meetings, I go to online meetings, I do daily readings from the big book, and a day by day book of mediation. I've been staying out of trouble, and really do not want to go back to this half-way house, as I don't like the way they handle things there. I just wish my p.o. would understand that i'm doing the best i can, and the program im working for myself now really works for me. ARG!!!

Sorry, just had to get that off my chest....any suggestions or comments would be nice. Thanks!!

Michael

One meeting a day for two months!?! The cruelty, the horror, the incomprehensible inconvenience!!! {sniffling} I say sue them! Whats the world coming to when an ex-con has to suit up and show up and follow one hateful, and clearly unjust, edict. How you put up with all of this is beyond me. Move over Jesus, there's a new man for the cross right here!!!

I lit a candle for your appalling, and unending suffering.

Tydalwave, ignore the guy. He sounds miserable. He has made comments about me and I ignore him. Like how I like to watch a bunch of rednecks drive in circles all day. (NASCAR) Damn right man. And proud of it. You areat the right place. Sounds like your doing good. If your PO wants you to jump through a few more hoops, do it. Its better than the alternative.

Welcome to T2 and tydalwave Acres! The ceilings are a tad pointy, and the walls are a tad thin....and the view leaves a lot to be desired, but the rent is FREE! You just cant beat that now-a-days! Thanks!

for some it means parole officer, but in my case it is a probation officer. I've never been to prison, just jail. You usually get a Parole officer after coming out of prison. I have a probation officer because of a THC charge, and a couple of bail jumping charges.

Prison is long term. Jail is short term. Jail is a holding tank while waiting for court day. Prison is a new home they give you after court day when you don't have a good lawyer.
My wife's aunt would go to the prison and visit the inmates. She said she was visiting her husbands clients *LOL*

gaol? I have no idea what that is. Misspelling maybe of Jail?
