I am a marijuana addict.
Today is day one. Marijuana used to be my love. Marijuana made it ok to be stuck, and a loser with no goals. I've lost so much to this green temptation of haze and brain goo deciding my fate.
No longer will I wear these chains of addiction. It hurts, and is real. I can't just smoke once and a while as it takes over my life and thoughts.
I am a marijuana addict first to anything. It's time to say good but to the only lover I have had for a decade. It's time to be free.
