Start my doctorate next year. I'll be 50.

Dame Judi Dench didn't star in any films till after 60.

Daniel Defoe wrote Robinson Crusoe age 60.

Hi, I'm 2 days off weed. You are 4 weeks. You are amazing. I use mindfulness to shut my busy/depressed/suicidal/homicidal head up. Try it, incredible tool and you are never too old to learn.

My best friend and I started stealing weed from our moms when I was 13 and she was 15. Funny, our dads didn't smoke it. I didn't do it everyday until college. Since I have worked in TV, sports and commodity trading .. none of which drug tested due to the industries.

I'm about to get back in the job market, so I quit around six weeks ago (soon to be 45, so I was a hardcore user for decades). It's only tough when I'm around others doing it. Still friends with my best friend from back then and when I was visiting my hometown I left her all my tools of the trade. It helped to get it out of the house.

Also, if you're pretty lean and workout I don't think it takes 30 days. I'd do a test from the drugstore ($10) to be sure though. And I know what you mean about not being able to eat. Good thing for me although, I needed to lose 10-15 lbs and I'm dreaming crazy stuff every night.

Hang in there! The job is worth it

10 weeks today. Ups and downs have been many but this time I'm giving it up for good. Still dream about it almost every night but at least I wake up with a clear head.

10 weeks is wonderful Richie.

I remember how vivid my using dreams were....they used to make me feel guilty when I woke up. Now, a little further down the line, they have vanished.

Being clean is really wonderful huh?

Congratulations Richie! You are doing great. By sharing your experience, you're an inspiration. Now you are helping me and many others stay clean.

P.S. When I quit, I had crazy dreams and using dreams a lot too. I think it's normal for us.

12 weeks today. It doesn't seem that long. I've got a job interview Monday and hopefully things are starting to look up. I am so glad I don't have to worry about how to pass a drug test

Turned out the interview was for temp work with no benefits so I told them if I didn't find permanent work by the end of the year I would contact them. Then I got a call from QVC and after a phone interview I was told they will call me in for an in person interview within two weeks. This would be a good job and I hope I can get it. The man I talked to said they had a hard time finding people who could pass a drug test. I said No Problem

Still here. Still not smoking. Still trying to get a job. I've been very discouraged lately. But I'm not gonna let that get me smoking again. Been about three and a half months now I think.
