My Windows 98, Pentium 199 computer is reaching the end of it's usefulness on the internet. I'm super broke right now, so I'm thinking about trying to find a cheap used HD. But something fast enough to keep up with todays website requirements. I was hoping for some suggestions and experiences with buying online, as I live in a rural area, and it's slim pickins at the small used computer shop in town.

both of those sites do have great prices -- you need to watch out for the shipping prices. They can kill ya. You might go to www.cnet.com and check out what they've got. They will link you to pricing and give you a review. I always go there before I make a technical purchase.

I get all my computer gear from www.newegg.com they rock with service and price. Also pricewatch.com is sorta like a "find the lowest price part" kinda place.

Thanks everyone. There's one that looks great for $200 new, but I'd have to wait awhile. I was worried about the shipping too. They're not exactly light, but atleast I don't need a monitor (have several). Same for keyboards and mice!
