How to save money on Gas

I am often surfing the net looking for alternative energy ideas. I want to convert my house to solar and hook it up to my power companies meter and let them pay me for the sexcess solar energy I produce.

The other day while surfing for some way to convert my car to an alternative energy source I found an article on using pure acetone in the gas tank to get better gas milage. Well I went to home depot and bought some and put it in my cars gas tank and low and behold I am gettting about 10 more miles per gallon in my car a '97 Jeep Grand Cherokee which has always been a gas hog. I put some in my son's tank and he got 100 miles more per tank than he normally does. I put some in my lawn mower and it ran great. My car runs much better now too. I found out from a mechanic that he puts it in cars to help them pass an emmissions test.

Do a google search key word "acetone fuel additive" and read the articles that come up everyone that I have told is getting way more than the 20% increase the the article says it will give.

It is reckomended to use only 2 to 3 ounces per 10 gallons. I forgot to add it and my car started running really bad and I went back home and put some in and its back to running good and clean again...thanks for letting me share!!

Acetone!!!! would that not rot the internal workings?!!!!!!

I guess if used as a 'super upper' it might be ok.....if mixed i guess????

There are alot of people her who are converting to vegetable oils to run thier cars....thats for diesle of course......There are many ways we can save on gas...but the government dont want you to see...its all about oil and profit

my big question her is....why have thes alternatives not been done before???????

I know it will void a warenty so I don't reckomend using it in a car that is still under warenty I also suggest reading the articles on acetone as fuel additive before you decide to do it.

My car is well past the warrenty stage and it was running like cr@p so I decided to try it cause as bad as it was running I did not see any harm but as of right now it is running like it did when I first got it but, I am now getting better gas milage. So needless to say I am happy about it.

You mix it with the gas you do not use it without the gas

I found a device that hooks intot he cars carorator system that uses water to convert to hydrogen while also using gas it is not very expensive and it sounds good. I have found plans to do-it-yourself that I am thinking of ordering as well as the devise.

But I am getting such improvement with the acetone that I think I will hang with it for a while.

Of course the great powers that be want all of my money and yours too but, I am deligent in learning to keep some for myself. Being around addicts taught me that...

Yes that is the main ingredient in nail polish remover but I have read that nail polish remover has stuff in it that could clog your system best to get "pure acetone" from a hardware store or other place that sells paint remover products.

I bought a quart for $5.00USA I have been giving it away like crazy to my friends and family and still have plenty left, You don't have to use very much. I used less trhan what was recomended cause my theory is less is more in many cases.
