HEY GUYS we have a lot of fun on this site dont we? well i want to start this thread to give overit a few more loving words and hugs....you know her hubs is in the freezing cold UK right now and she needs all our support so a few words of love would be so appreciated...at the end of the day thats how it all works in recovery..... Overit, I know you are having a hard time right now and I wish I could be there right now to give you hundreds of hugs right now.....! I might get a bit covered in crumble but hey whats a bit of crumble between real buddies? One day we will meet and we will do those tea shops! ha! and then go shopping for shoes!!! I am proud to call you a real freind.....as with so many on this forum..... HUGS and ooodles of love to you righ tnow you are so in my prayers right now love Purrdyxxxxx |

Ang, those are some serious tears...would seeing a therapist help you dig out of whatever's causing you so much distress? Aside from that, how's the apple curmble?  Sending loads of hugs...Live near San Francisco so can't deliver them in person. I'm thinking of you and all the fun stuff you've done for all here at the Cafe. Geez, I hope this will pass...praying for you today. |

To ALL of YOu!!!!!!!!! I sincerely LOVE each and every one of you. Each for a different reason. You all make me laugh and smile and for that I am SO grateful. To know that you all care so much brings me to sheer tears of joy. I am sorry that I have worried you guys. It's really not that bad. It is just that I am feeling so overwhelmed right now. Just getting out of detox and trying to battle this d@mn sobriety thing. Hubby going off to England. Trying to juggle both of the kiddos schedules (how I was EVER a single, working full time mother, I will NEVER know), trying to deal with my daughter's anger at me, just revealing to my parents how bad of an alcoholic that I am, and being the word's biggest CODDIE on top of all of that, just got to me. I need a life. I need to a job or volunteering (which I have already put some calls in about). Just feeling really sorry for myself today, because there are many local friends that know the situation that I am in and that David has gone and have not heard from one of them, just brought me to my knees today. Basically, just ONE HUGE GIGANTIC PITY PARTY FOR ME TODAY. I am just sick and tired of always being the one to call my friends. I want them to call me from time to time. Selfish? Probably. But, those are my feelings and I am putting them in words. And it feels good. I love each and every one of you more than you will ever know. xoxoxoxoxoxoxox Ang |

Overit... ((((hugs)))). I couldn't understand a bit of what Purdy said - her danged accent is so strong, it comes out in her typing!!! (grin) But I did understand one thing... ((((Overit))))) You are loved. Keep putting one foot in front of the other... just for today.
