I am so ..just so...surprised! - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

I had to share this little snippet with you all. As many of you know I have been suffering with depression and still reeling at the aftermath of a very bad experience at work (I am still signed off!)

Well today my University called me to ask if they could have a copy of my last assignment (handed in last Monday) My first reaction was Oh Gawd it was crap!....
But they want to use it to go on the web site!! i said

Are you being serious?

The admin lady (lovely Sarah) said "yes of course im serious!" and I said "did you get the right person?" and she laughed and said "Im gonna give you a slap in a minute!!" tee hee

so I have just sent it off!! via e-mail

I am so knocked out I have actually done it and got a 'good mark' as Sarah said, but couldnt give me a grade as it had to go to moderators.

I just wanted to share that with you guys because I feel like its just such a surprise and the first thing i said was thankyou god!!!!

It makes me feel sort of like I can do it!

I am just so surprised and it has just knocked me out!

Crazy Crazy person I am with such low self esteem....I still cannot believe it..

I know its just a small thing but it really means a lot to me....

I am really enjoying being here with you guys, another avenue to explore and so many wise and wonderful people I am so gratefull.

Keep posting and keep smiling AND laughing (god I havnt laughed so much in ages as i did last night on the 'once upon a time post' with lthe story hatching and the timing in the posts adding another laughable dimension!)

Good for you. I'm excited for you. But what's more important, is that I'm excited about that "snippet" word. What a great word! I'm gonna use it for the Vocabulary Word of the Day...for my students, tomorrow....except, it isn't in the dictionary. (at least not my student one)
