SR question

Do people on here have home boards ?

Heard people say they are going to their home board.

I guess mine is What is Recovery.

Any light on this?

I've called the AA forum my home forum.
Simply because it's kind of like where my tribe lives, and it's where a few of the elders of my tribe post more regularly.
And you know, I've wondered about that.
Maybe it sounds exclusionary and elitist on my part, really...

I think it cool that people have a home board! Kind of making yourself at home.

What is Recovery is My home board from now on!

I like the sound of a "home board" or "home forum", just sounds friendly and comforting. I post and recieve a lot of good inspiration from many forums here, but Nar-Anon is where the people truly know my history and who I am.

Hugs
Ann

Home is where the heart is.
I can feel comfortable in someone else's home. Even kick off my shoes and relax comfortable. But, home is where the people know me and love me still -- in spite of myself. Naranon is my home board.
But, I love to visit the others, too.

Shalom!

I keep up on about 6 of the boards, but consider Substance Abuse to be my "home board" I'd say it's the board that you feel the most comfortable posting and with the people who frequent it. I used to say the "Newcommers Board" was my home board, but it seemed like then they kinda changed the rules there, so I don't post there as much anymore.

Hey neat thread five,,

I too have what I would consider my home forum.. Substance abuse.. Although I love Christians, and Newcomers, and a few more, I do post all over, but, soedays, if I am in a hurry, I'll only check into Substance abuse, I do feel I know everyone there very well,, and am quite comfortable with all.. ya know, I love and need you all though..

Love,
Becky

Women in Recovery, Narcotics Anonymous, and Cafe Central.

I pop into those 3 first, (in that order because they are top to bottom on the screen). Then I check out others.
