| For the love of TV! So I have digital cable TV. Last week I upgraded and got a digital video recorder. It is $8US more a month. I guess it's like TiVo but having never seen TiVo I am not sure. But I can record programs when I am away and watch them on my own schedule. I can also fast forward through commercials. Alll in all I am really liking it. It works well with my schedule. Mostly I am thankful that I have a job that allows me to have this. I don't want to screw that up. I know others are not as lucky. |

Hi Grimnar - I have digital cable too, and I've been thinking about signing up for the DVR. I love the idea of being able to fast-forward through commercials - well worth the extra eight bucks a month.

I have digital cable and now I can use the remote to click through 300 channels in an attempt at finding something worth watching. Over 300 channels and STILL nothing good is on TV but it looks nicer*LOL*
