Word Game - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

Here's the deal: First player will offer a word, any word. Each player thereafter will make a new word using the next letter in the alphabet & changing, adding or deleting 1 to 3 letters in the previous word. One of the changes can't be the first letter - that's gonna change; it's a given.

Example:
Appaloosa
Balloons (changed one P to an L, one P to an N, deleted an A = 3 changes)
Cloaks (changed an L to a K, deleted an O & the N = 3 changes)

Any word in this dictionary is fine & words obtained from Webster's First New Intergalactic Wickedary of the English Language are not only acceptable, but will earn you...oh I don't know, some kinda prize or other.

Here ya go, Wolf - & what a beauty she is! This here is a gen-yoo-ine Sacred Fire Hydrant unearthed just last week from the ancient Fire Spinner's Temple on Crete. Notice the Goddess-Pink flame-retardant paint, still in pretty good shape for a 35,000 year-old relic! She's a bit crusty, but that just adds to her charm. My ex used to say the same about me! A real showpiece! Congrats!

Nice try Phinny, but prezzies are only awarded if you use a word from the Wickedary. Irrigate was a toughie though, so I tried to get you some donuts for your coffee. This guy wrestled me to the ground & stole 'em & was last seen speeding into Jamaica Plain with raspberry filling oozing from his mouth. Sorry, I tried.

I should have made it more clear - the new word you're posting has to begin with the next letter of the alphabet - so sorry Kelly, EVIL doesn't count - my bad. If you can catch that donut bandit, you can have some of Phinny's donuts.
