............for Halloween?

I have not dressed up in years but this year my husband and I are supposed to go to a get together at a friends house and I thought what the heck I'll dress up that sounds like fun..

I decited to do the goth thing for Halloween lol now... I am blonde w/ fair skin and yellow under tone and blue eyes bought a pretty nice long flowing black wig online. Needless to say it does not match my skin tone and eyes at all. I did a bit of a trial run today and I am not much for the over done look of make up. ::shivers:: Oh my goodness!! I have not applied eye shadow like that since the late 80's. Definaly will having to tone that down a bit. I am excited I am reading all kinda of sites to get the know how of goth make up. Gives me something to do

So are you dressing up?

I've been invited to a few costume parties, so I'll dress as something. I'm thinking a ninja pirate. Unique, yet classic.

I am thinking of dressing up like Inuyasha from the Japanese anime series. My sister would really get a kick out of that and I'm sure it would get some attention!

I haven't done Halloween in years myself.According to my girlfriend I guess I am going to an AA dance and I'm gonna be a Pirate.Whatever.

I think I will throw the "Ninja Pirate" idea at her.

My sister got me into watching anime. I just fell in love with Inuyasha. That show is so awesome. He is the cutest thing!

I'm trying to find the costume on ebay. It is really expensive though. I'll get the red kimono and the long white hair wig with dog ears!
That would be so cool!

There are a ton of great websites talking about the virtues of the Ninja Pirate. Just google it and you will have more than enough reasons why being a Ninja Pirate is the right call!

I might be a witch or a vampiress. Not sure which yet since I still need to purchase part of the outfit. The fangs or the hat! LOL I have an awesome dress and cape I usually wear. The chest has a spider lace and the arms are spider lace. The cape is black with a silver/black spider lace also. Humm maybe I can be a spider queen!

time2------ouch! that's one hot costume & i thought my pirate digs were good!

i''m throwing a bash this year & couldn't decide, but i think i am gonna go as a susan seddon painting (not a particular one, just the idea......google susan seddon to see)

my bday (sept. 24) was a pirate theme (usually a fancy dress for the last several years), but one year i got about 20 people to dress as pirates for the BCAP (boulder county aids project) ball....talk about fun! we were a horde! & my girl at the time looked almost as good as time2's costume find.

just for info sept 19th is international talk like a pirate day & i think it will be a new anual party for me.......i love to host parties! (can ya all tell i'm a libra?)

wolflet....that is a GREAT idea! I've heard of Talk Like A Pirate Day on another board (where I first learned about Pirates vs Ninjas, Pirate Ninjas, and Robot Pirates vs. Ninjas.....it is a very odd board!), but I didn't know the actual date.

i'll pit medival feline space pirates against the whole lot.......especially if the amazon pirates riding giant sea otters join my side too.......or maybe i've been stareing at the moon too long again!
