Happy Springtime Sober Recovery..! ![]() Hi Im Sharon and Im an Alcoholic. Summer is near and it's time to prepare for barbques and pool time fun. Vactions and time off for some Summer Fun. ![]() Do you like laying out in the sun in the pool or along side the pool? ![]() What's popular and durable in rafts for the pool and chaise loungers to lay on outside the pool? You can spend dollars each year on rafts for fun in the pool and none ever last very long. There bulky and hard to a pain in the tush to take in and out the pool. And advice of good tubing, or pool rafts? Remember those tires u use to use to go rafting? lol I remember those days....Lost a chest of beer we had with us as it got caught on a branch in the water....pizzed us off because we had to go the entire trip with no beer..... Of course that was during my drinking days.....i havent gone tubing sober.... however i may just enjoy sitting in a raft in a pool....

How about foating solar lights for ur pool? We dont have inground pool lights, so i was looking at lights that r solored by the sun and glow in the pool at night. Like a rainbow affect..... Maybe one that sprays water out like a fountain with multicolored lights? I never had access to a pool till now and its time to have pool time fun...

I would be happy with just any kind of pool. NY stinks. Nothing but a mucky river. I am so home sick for the beach it isnt even funny. I cant even look at a picture of the beach and get a sinking feeling of longing in the pit of my stomach. Where I live..>We cant even have a kiddy pool. But when I did live in FL...We had all sorts of floats and rafts. I liked the chair type ones where you could sit up and float with your feet in the water. Little cup holder for your soda. Just sit back and float all day long. SIGH....I miss Florida. We use to get the kids those noodles. And the little inner tubes. We use to have this huge whale thing that they could ride on. Have you seen those huge inflatable water slides they have now? Wish we had those when I was little.

Thanks chiynita....I definitely understand that feeling of being homesick in the pit of my stomach that it wasnt even funny. Ill bring a topic up for us to talk about being homesick. I didnt have a pool at all unless i was on vacation till now. My husband whom i just married has a pool. I look out our living room window and think we r on vacation. I sit out on the swing by the pool and im filled with all sorts of wonderful feelings. It's like im in aw to actually have a pool right in front of me. Unbelieveably awesome. The sun make the water sparkle so. Summer is near and im ready to just enjoy such a wonderful gift in recovery. Whether to lay near the pool or in it soaking up rays.
