Hi Im Sharon and Im an Alcoholic. Hmmmmm..... FIRE IN THE HOLE...! Or It's The Pits.! BBQ Pits that is....lol Time is near to fire up those BBQ Pits. For me its been a long time since i had BBQ on the grill. I use to do it when i was married the first time. Loved to grill chicken, sausage, ocassional steak along with sides of corn on the cob, baked potatoes, baked beans, potato salad and bread. Yum.... Then i went thru changes in my recovery like relocating to Houston, then returning to my hometown 10 yrs later, to divorce and once again remarried. All AWESOME changes in my life. Now with a new gift in recovery blessings....im ready to fire up the grill again. What's good to bar b que these days? Do u have special ways to bbq.? New sauces to try? BBQ something totally off the wall? LETS GET BBQing....

We cook just about ANYTHING on the grill. We use the grill year-round, too, but admittedly less in the winter. Still, if we want to grill burgers or steaks, unless it's STORMING we won't let the weather stop us. That being said, bring on summer and the honest-to-goodness grilling season! (Potatoes in foil packets with onions and butter... mmmm)

I had it on the Food Channel briefly yesterday and saw BBQ in Texas which is why I came here with this topic. They had put artichokes on the grill which i had not heard of before. It looked interesting and delicious if you are vegetarian or you just want something light. What other out of the ordinary things can you grill?

When hurricane Fran hit us in NC the power was out for days. So I cooked chicken alfredo on the grill...LOL Chicken on the grill and sauce on the side burner. I love any and everything on the grill. Nothing beats that smell and flavor. Most def my fav..Yep you guessed it..Cheeseburgers and baby backs.
