Here's my sweet Toby, he's 17 and deaf (thus the leash which he doesn't mind). He's still got lots of spunk and personality, walks with me and keeps me company (or is it the other way around).

He's had about 18 lives so far, and my vet calls him his little miracle cat.

My avatar is Elvis. This picture is of Mots, which stands for Mouth-of-the-south because he's so loud! Have 2 more furbabies...another cat (Patches) and chihuahua (Tinker) but don't have pictures of them right now.

All are spoiled, and I love them dearly!

Hugs and prayers!

Amy

Not great pictures, but that's Molls' (Molly). She's nearly ten years old. Molly lived with my next door neighbours. When they moved in next to us they had Molly, another cat and two dogs. Molly was four years old then, but she wouldn't let anyone near her. My neaighbour said she'd just always been a very cautious and nervous cat and if I walked within ten feet of her she ran away.

She was like that 'cause of the dogs and my neighbours little boy who used to chase her and if he ever managed to get her he'd pull her fur out etc. My neighbour wasn't much better with her.

Anyway my neighbour moved out after four years, abandoning the house and both cats. The other cat was basically wild anyway and i feed him whenever I can, but he's pretty tough, wont come near me still. Molly, on the other hand, wont leave lol. She started coming in the house and trusting me slowely and now she's head butting the door and meowing at four am to be let in and pouncing on my lap at every oppotunity. She's a really affectionatte and playful cat. I think she's trying to re-live her kitten-hood lol.

I know she's a cat, but she's been a great help to me and seeing how happy and healthy she is now, and that she chooses to live here really makes me happy ^_^.

R.I.P Sherbet, too, my childhood cat. She also chose to move in, was a stray kitten who just appeared one day and never left.

I'm going to be one of those crazy cat women when I'm old...I just know it.

I want a pet...Heres my Boogie Butt Ashley. Shes been gone for a long time. My old neighbor poisoned her. But I still miss her and will always love her.
She was so smart and loving. She always made me feel so much better in those times when I felt like I just wanted to drop off the face of the earth.

OK one of these days I'll learn how to post a pic, but for now the fog hasn't lifted enough and I'm too stoooopid to figure out how to do it.

How about if I give you a visual?

A few months ago I "adopted" a miniature pinscher. She was a gift from my GF who's also in recovery. She came with the name "Missy", 9 months old now, she's black and brown with a bone-shaped white patch on her chest. Adorable! My kids love her. Her current hobbies are tearing up our house, bringing in plants and dirt from the backyard and throwing them all over the kitchen, and acting like a complete spazz which which is what min-pins do best I guess! She's driving me nutz but she's so darn cute I can't be frustrated for too long!

Haze

the puppa Haze on her first day swimming... check the muddy paws! best dog ever.

btw, she doesn't know she's a pitbull. she's never shown aggression to another dog or human. her current roommate is an 8 year old golden retriever that Haze was initially scared of... before that, she lived in a house with a 13 lb dog, an 8 lb dog, and an Australian shepard and never snapped or growled at any of them. never at people, either. she's great with kids, my nieces love her... she's the best. giving pits a good name.

my baby!

Pits are given a bad rap.
Because people who choose to use them for fighting and other disgusting abusive things.
Pits are really very loveable, gentle, smart dogs.
My friends grandfather had one when we were teenagers.
Patches..She was so smart and loving. She was even trained to get the paper and the mail. She was a great dog.
