I was only child until I was almost 14. Then both mom and step mom had a lil girl, to suddenly I went from spoiled only child to not seen or heard. I soooo rebelled. No never picked on the babys, who both now are over 18 and still at home. I moved out the day of my 18th B day. BTW I graduated at 16 too. Is it strange I feel like an only child and so do they or worse at 20 I was jealous of family pics without me?

Wow....maybe my oldest thinks that way since she has a 1/2 sister that is 19 yrs younger. I don't think it strange, just wonder do you resent them in anyway?

I only resented them because I was there as part of the family but no longer fit in, it was always mom step dad baby, me pushed aside. We had one family pic taken together so a year after I moved out they had 2 done, that bugged me. Then I really didnt belong anywhere, think thats why I started having kids. The person photographing them the second time was me, I was a professional photographer in another life. Is all that weird? Does it really matter now that all is resolved and I am recovering?

Isn't it amazing that a word can have different meanings? Like a cricket can be an animal or a sport. I recently took my 4 yr old granddaughter to visit the Patton Museum at Ft. Knox, KY, told her we were going to see the big tanks. She asked "The tanks you wear with jeans or the tanks that the fish swim in?" hmm - she really had a good point. So what other words can you think of that have multiple meanings?

Uh oh - we all are a bunch of TV people at my job - talk about the shows the next day, try to predict what's gonna happen next, Just don't like reality TV - I'm living reality why would I want to watch it on TV? And is Survivor really reality TV? What do you think the Camera Crew, Director and other staff is doing for food, shelter and other modern conveniences?

Here's another military term: SNAFU (Situation Normal, All F'cked Up) -- ever heard it? (Don't mind him -- much like the Rainman, he's just answering a question from two days ago)... . . . Quote:

Do those annoying water fountains make you have to go to the bathroom all the time? How are they suppose to help you relax and sleep, if you always have to get up in the middle of the night to go potty?
