Thanks Suzin, my back still hurts... I'm hoping it is pinched nerves and not a herniated disk or anything. I can still function, but do have some pain. 57 Days here. I am still free, sober and clean but life will soon become very busy and expensive. This too shall pass, I am a survivor and fighter. I will improvise, adapt and overcome.

Hang loose, Doc.

Sharon, yeah I actually took a pretty good spill about two weeks ago on my way home from work. A few scrapes, scratches and hurt my back... Fortunately I was wearing my helmet and all my pads and safety gears. I have to be careful because I have some chronic back problems from all the years I worked on an ambulance...

Hang loose, Doc.

I'm ashamed to say I've had 3 of those parties is the span of 20 years. Went some long stints without driving, and drove a year with an interlock.

I think it's really cool that you skate for transpo. I used to do that in Jr. High, and always wore out one shoe. LOL. I rode a mountain bike during my non-driving periods. Kept me in good shape too! Shopping and laundry were the biggest obstacles. It makes you really appreciate being able to drive.

Doorknob, this is my 3rd also... But forunately for me, my last one was over 20 years ago so it is being treated as a first offense. I had several long periods of being clean and sober during that time. I relapsed on my Son's birthday and was off to the races again. It's too bad it took something drastic and stupid like this to wake me up! I am still skating and riding my mt. bike, but I sure am looking forward to getting my license back in December... I also have my Wife, Son and his family who play "Taxi" for me when I need it. I'm thankful for their help and support, but feel bad that they have to be inconvinienced because of my poor choices and stupidity...

Hang loose, Doc.

Sharon, I was a medic in the military, and then I worked many years on an ambulance after I got out of the service. Most of it on the streets of Los Angeles. I have tons of stories, but that would take up allot of time, space and really is a stressful place I really don't want to go at this point in time... I hope you understand.

Hang loose, Doc.
