I love video games, i've been playing them ever since i was a kid. My 1st console was nintendo and my favorite game was ninja gaiden. I now have an xbox and a ton of pc games also. I was addicted to WoW and UO for a while, but couldn't afford the monthly fees. I now play civilization4, halflife2 plus any adventure game i can get my hands on. There's so many games i play i can't name them all. what games do you like to play? what games made an impact on your life? Do you like to play online games? I'd like to team up and play some online games with anyone. Let me know what you have and we can team up and play or if someone has that game and i don't then you might find someone to play with. |

Hi Hurt - I was a champ on Zelda and Super Mario Brothers on the original 8-bit system. I could get through both games without losing a life and without taking the shortcuts. Ditto for Donkey Kong on the SNES. I was also pretty darned good at Pong. I don't have time to play video games these days, but when my grandson is old enough to play I guess I can get back into it all over again.

Hey Margo, oh how i remember the days of zelda. That game was what started me out in loving rpgs. That's quite an accomplishment with mario and zelda, with skills like that i hope you get back into playing video games with your grandson and show him how it's done. |

Pong and Space invaders were my games *LOL* Packman was my wife's. I just couldn't get into that one. Luxor is what I have been playing as of late. Impact on my life? Yup all of them cause such bad habits.

I used to do online Soduku puzzles.... especially this spring when I was so stressed about my AS and his problems. Sitting too long and being stressed already was not so good. But.... I am fast at that game! I don't care for many online games but like online versions of solitaire and mah-jong sometimes. I play them so much for period of time and then get sick of them!!!

I just got the huge 140 meg community expansion for Neverwinter Nights. AWESOME. I love adventure games! Probably has something to do with escapism...no? Ultima IV had the most profound impact on my life. In a way, it still does. There's a module of it for NWN! ![]() I like Deus Ex, Quake II, Half-Life, but Unreal is the real eye candy for me. Unreal Tournament is a blast. Low-grav shock rifle arena!!! Wooohoooo! |

I love PC games. Currently playing Oblivion but it really makes my system chug; I'd like to see it with all detail up high. Anything flight simulator. I fact, when I first saw it, I bought the program and then went and bought a computer to run it on.(C64 I think) I had an Amiga 500 after the C64 and spent much of my life with it, Eye of the Beholder series, Wing Commander stuff like that. Privateer was a blast. Oh yeah, Elite too. A real blast from the past. Eliminator on the TRS-80 model one. It took twenty minutes to load from a cassette tape into my 16K ram, but I loved it. Ron |

Yes that's excactly why i play adventure games, to escape from reality. just a few to name are syberia 1 & 2, the longest journey & dreamfall. Mongo, i need to get microsoft flight simulator, i see they come out with alot of different planes. another game i need to get is oblivion, i hear it's pretty cool. I still have it and all, but for some reason when i switched my os it wouldn't play on my computer. i allways get errors. At least i played about 3/4 ways through it i think. No, i never played soldier of fortune. I do like violent games. I'll have to get it. |

I probably spend more time thinking about which one i want to play then actually playing them. :scratchch I've beat most the games i have and some i just can't get into. It's also more of a hobby to collect them. |

OMG, Zork!!!! That was the first game I ever bought, shortly after I bought my Apple //c in 1984. West of House You are standing in an open field west of a white house, with a boarded front door. There is a small mailbox here. >_ The next game I bought was Ultima I. My life forever changed from that point. Lord British this, Lord British that. Where are my runes? Argh! *sigh* *sob* |

I have been addicted to video games in the past. I have stayed up all night getting obsessed with the next level, only to not be satisfied and need to get to the next level. I have nearly lost jobs with video game obsession. I haven't played in years, (i think that zelda masks was the last one). I have gone into sudoko land recently, but they don't satisfy me anymore either. I have just gotten bored with Kakuro, and Killer Sudoku. So what does all this mean. I have addiction issues. But Now I am worried about my 16 y.o. son. He isn't happy much of the time. He plays video games alot. And when really depressed he will cut school to stay home and play Maple Story all day. He made a pact with friends back in grade school not to drink, do drugs, or smoke. He is critical of drug abuse, but refuses to see that addictive behavior is the problem, not the drug of choice. I don't know how to help him. Any advice, thoughts, stories??? Can you relate? |

Zelda is my favorite. I played all of them until they went to gamecube. This site has Zelda you can play on your computer and you can make your own quests. http://www.zeldaclassic.com/ The most recent game I played was Myst. I got through the first game. I'm on Riven now. I think it's an old game.
