Talents and gifts are what we need to look for.

Wouldn't take the quarterback of the football team and make him become a ballerina...unless he had the Talents and Gifts to do so.

Thing is, as backwards and old style as some think Russia may be... over in Russia they test each child and gear their schooling based on the childs aptitude and gifts.

That's a good story Teach! I was taught that alot of learning disabilities are actually better described as teaching disabilities.... The different learning styles such as:
auditory,visual, kinesthetic etc. and the 7 (8?)areas of intelligence (per H. Gardner) prove that we all learn and process information differently.
How sad that the unique qualities of so many are undervalued or ignored.
